When you come in for an eye exam at Alaska Eyecare Professionals, our doctors run a full set of tests to check how well you see and how healthy your eyes are.
We'll start by talking about your health, any medications you take, and anything that's been bothering you about your vision. Next, we'll check your eyesight to see if glasses or contacts could help. Using advanced equipment, we'll look closely at the inside and outside of your eyes, check how well your eyes work together and focus, and measure the pressure inside your eyes to screen for problems like glaucoma.
These checkups help our doctors catch eye diseases and even other health issues early, so you can get the care you need right here in Alaska without having to go out of state for treatment.
